How to Create a Backups for a Server

Creating a backup in your client area

Step 1: Log in to your client area and on the dashboard, navigate to services and click on services

Step 2: Click on Active under the status of the server that you want to back up

Step 3: Scroll down to Additional Tools and click on Backups

Step 4: In the Backups section, click the ➕ Create Backup button on the right.

Step 5: Click the dropdown under Compres and choose one of the available compression options:

    • ZSTD (fast and good) (recommended)

    • *GZIP (good)

    • *LZO (fast)

  • ZSTD offers the best balance of speed and compression

Step 6: Click on the dropdown under Mode and choose one of the available modes

Step 7: Click confirm to download the backups

Wait for the Backup to complete downloading. This process usually takes about 5 -15 minutes to complete.

Once the download is complete, it will appear on your list of downloads
Please note that you can only store 3 backups at a time
